Key Responsibilities:
Role Purpose
The Bartender is tasked with warmly welcoming guests, processing orders, and making recommendations to enhance the guest experience. A thorough understanding of the venue's food, beverage, and gaming options is essential, along with proficient management of cash and financial transactions. This role is fulfilled by maintaining a friendly and inviting demeanor, consistently providing hospitality, and keeping updated knowledge of the offerings available.
Specific Duties Include:
- Adhere to scheduled work hours and be available for additional hours as needed.
- Follow instructions and exemplify teamwork.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a dynamic environment.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities, enhancing the hospitality experience.
- Maintain exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Manage time efficiently.
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards while handling food.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience in crafting cocktails is preferred.
- Familiarity with restaurant standards and hospitality practices.
- Knowledge of current trends in bars and cocktails.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with staff at all levels.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, including navigating stairs.
- Capability to travel unassisted as necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
