Half of the surgical volume at this facility is pediatrics including neonates. Cases also include general, ortho, OB, trauma, ENT, podiatry, urology, plastics and sedation for MRIs. A 464-bed facility, St. Mary's Medical Center features a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, maternity services and more. St. Mary's Medical Center is also home to the Paley Institute, which offers patients the most technologically advanced limb lengthening and deformity correction treatments available. Additionally, St. Mary's is home to the Palm Beach Children's Hospital, the only dedicated children's hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando. This facility not only provides award-winning, nationally-recognized care, but also remains very active in the West Palm Beach community.
