Job Summary:
Froedtert Health is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at the Eye Institute. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting in educational and technical training sessions for other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient care and exams, including preparing patients for procedures and maintaining accurate records.
- Participate in educational and technical training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
