Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant to join our team at Tri-State Orthopaedics. As a key member of our orthopaedic team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in surgical procedures, including first assist and post-operative care
  • Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations
  • Provide a full range of patient care services, including ultrasound-guided injections, casting and splinting, and EMR documentation
  • Participate in hospital rounding and orthopaedic consults at smaller hospitals
  • Staff Ortho Urgent Care hours, which are optional but encouraged

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PA/CRNP
  • Surgical experience and orthopaedic knowledge required
  • Prior orthopaedic experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
