Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service and support in various areas of the hospital, including tray line, host/hostess, cafeteria, deli, cashier, salad bar, and pizza services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all stations are ready for operations, including accuracy, speed, and a sense of urgency.
  • Set up next shift for success, including restocking and cleaning as needed.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including starter stations, air-curtain refrigerators, host/hostess carts, ice cream freezers, beverage center, and other areas as deemed necessary.
  • Restock and sanitize patient delivery carts, condiment boxes, and other equipment as needed.
  • Assist patients with opening items, if required, and ensure accurate identification and verification of patient information.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned, including temporary re-assignment to other work areas as business needs require.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
