Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GPU Architect to join our team at Qualcomm. As a key member of our Engineering Group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying the performance and power of GPU cores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality GPU systems that balance power with performance and meet industry standards.
  • Design, program, and run comprehensive graphics tests using tools and methods for components under different scenarios and benchmarks.
  • Conduct complex analyses of test results using statistics and data predictions to track benchmarks and identify issues or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external users to guide implementation and ensure alignment with their needs and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in graphics to ensure solutions and deliverables align with best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant GPU experience (either external or internal).
  • 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director and above).
  • 1+ year in a technical leadership role with direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).
