Job Summary:

The Appalachian Regional Healthcare Foundation Intern will have the opportunity to develop their skills and contribute to the Foundation's efforts in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role will involve assisting with various tasks, including video editing, podcast recording, and event planning, to support the Foundation's branding and fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating, filming, and editing videos to promote the ARH Foundation and its work in Appalachia for web and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the ARH Foundation Coordinator to plan and implement a social media strategy.
  • Help organize, charge, and prepare camera equipment (GoPro) before filming days.
  • Assist with face-to-face marketing at tables, programs, and events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university, majoring in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations.
  • Minimum work experience required.
  • Must have experience in video editing.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in diverse teams.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to take initiative.
