Position Overview:

The Accounting Technician plays a crucial role in the financial operations of the Yosemite Community College District.   4. Work independently on routine assignments while seeking guidance on complex issues.
  5. Oversee and monitor the work of subordinate staff on specific projects or assignments.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience with financial record-keeping and reporting. The ability to effectively communicate and establish professional relationships is essential.


Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in modern accounting software and financial applications.
  • Strong mathematical skills for complex calculations.
  • Ability to maintain and reconcile accounting ledgers.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring budgets.

Education and Experience:

A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and skills is necessary. Typical qualifications include:
