Job Title: Vendor Management Lead

Job Summary

The Vendor Management Lead is responsible for the accurate and timely onboarding of suppliers, including the review and approval of all compliance documents. This role requires excellent analytical, technical, interpersonal, and project management skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the rebranding process for acquired companies
  • Drive increased Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) participation
  • Review, verify, and approve EFT documentation
  • Onboard new vendors, haulers, and subcontractors, including follow-up for missing documents
  • Communicate status updates with operations and accounting teams
  • Review documents for accuracy, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Workers' Compensation (WC), and Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Reactivate, change, or deactivate vendors as needed
  • Rebrand vendors for acquisitions, including updating company name, contact information, shipping address, billing address, and completing credit applications
  • Onboard vendors for acquisitions
  • Send letters, set up or consolidate accounts, and ensure utilities are added to My Utility Cabinet
  • Collect, review, and approve documents
  • Code invoices for Accounts Payable (AP) processing
  • Guide vendors, haulers, and subcontractors on proper documentation and provide consultation as needed
  • Proactively follow up on expiring insurance documents to ensure vendors remain compliant
  • Work with stakeholders, including transportation managers and finance teams, in each Operating Company (Opco)
  • Perform audits on vendors, haulers, and subcontractors
  • Verify insurance with agents as needed
  • Ability to adapt to changing and process-driven environments
  • Support CRH global-led initiatives
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience performing Vendor Management-related functions
  • Excellent analytical, technical, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), email, and an attitude for learning new software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High standards of ethics, integrity, and trust
  • Meet individual deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with the team to collectively meet deadlines
  • Understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Efficiently utilize multiple AP systems in a fast-paced, high-volume culture
Work Environment

Normal office work environment with a fast-paced tempo and deadlines. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications and willing to work in a team environment. Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
