Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer and Office Manager to lead our engineering team in Guam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering and excellent management skills. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $200,000 annually.

About the Role:

  • As a Geotechnical Engineer and Office Manager, you will be responsible for supervising geotechnical engineering services, reviewing technical specifications, and providing technical direction for geophysical/geotechnical investigations.
  • You will also oversee geotechnical fieldwork, including drilling, pit digging, soil logging, and in-situ tests.
  • Additionally, you will supervise on-site investigation work and mobilize/coordinate work with subcontractors.
  • As a Specialized Inspector, you will conduct inspections at construction sites to ensure compliance with design parameters.
  • You will also assist in managing the OYO construction and soil materials testing lab in Dededo, Guam.

Requirements:

  • A B.S. or M.S. degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (preferred) or related engineering or science field.
  • U.S. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Geotechnical and/or Civil Engineering (preferred)
  • At least 10 years' experience in engineering projects
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to re-locate to Guam, U.S.A.
  • A positive and professional demeanor
