Job Summary:

The Energy Management Engineer plays a crucial role in our organization, focusing on the management and implementation of energy efficiency initiatives across multiple facilities. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including optimizing building systems, conducting data analysis, and overseeing energy audits, all aimed at enhancing operational performance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement building optimization projects, focusing on HVAC system enhancements and commissioning processes.
  • Coordinate and manage facility-specific initiatives from start to finish.
  • Design and refine control sequences for automated building systems.
  • Perform thorough energy evaluations and detailed data assessments.
  • Provide technical support in energy engineering and fault detection diagnostics.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Expertise in programming languages pertinent to building control systems.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on data-driven strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Practical problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) is required.
  • A consistent work history, ideally in energy engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in programming and software associated with building systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Building Mechanical Systems.
  • A solid understanding of Energy Management and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
