Job Title: Assistant IT Manager

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Assistant IT Manager to oversee the information technology service desk operations for the organization. The successful candidate will have the ability to work from any of GAI's office locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of service desk technicians to ensure timely and effective resolution of IT issues.
  • Develop and support information systems products and services, including personal computers, peripherals, internet connectivity, and software applications.
  • Ensure service requests are properly resolved according to organizational standards.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain standard operating procedures for IT services.
  • Oversee service performance, assist with purchasing, testing, or the installation of service desk equipment.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT concepts and principles.
  • Perform complex tasks typically following established processes.
  • Lead and direct the work of other employees and provide recommendations for personnel decisions.
  • Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience.
