Overview

Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, Anesthesia Dpt seeks a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our esteemed team at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. With its rich history and world-class facilities, this premier hospital offers an unparalleled opportunity to deliver exceptional care.

**Salary:** $400,000 - $600,000 per year (dependent on experience)

As a leading Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Our clinical case mix includes general surgery, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, orthopedics, otolaryngology, cancer surgery, robotics, podiatry, plastics, gastroenterology endoscopy, cardiology, ECTs, and obstetrics.

Our physicians cover all types of cases, including obstetrics and peripheral nerve blocks. We have certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) in-house coverage 24/7 to help cover our busy OR and obstetrics service. Many CRNAs are proficient with neuraxial techniques.

**Call Schedule:*

  • Weekday Call: once a week
  • Weekend Call: 3 times a quarter

**Requirements:**

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school and licensure to practice medicine in Massachusetts
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within anesthesia
  • Ability to work collaboratively with APHMFP staff
  • Adaptability and confidence valued
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
