We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
- Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service to patients, respond to their needs and concerns, and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, rescheduling or canceling appointments, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, collect and log co-pays and fees, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills, strong multitasking and communication skills, experience providing exceptional customer service, and medical terminology knowledge.
- Experience: Recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.
