Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and validate current patient census and staffing needs in collaboration with clinical teams using staffing software.
  • Prepare and present tentative staffing plans for review and approval by clinical contacts.
  • Conduct proactive recruitment outreach to core and contingent clinical staff as needed.
  • Implement escalation protocols for urgent staffing challenges.
  • Manage real-time data entry for staffing absence notifications.
  • Review final staffing schedules and provide insights to management and scheduling teams.
  • Report to leadership on scheduling effectiveness and address upcoming staffing issues.
  • Run regular reports to identify staffing gaps and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Uphold high professional and ethical standards in all activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college education preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in generating and interpreting reports.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and management.
