Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and validate current patient census and staffing needs in collaboration with clinical teams using staffing software.
- Prepare and present tentative staffing plans for review and approval by clinical contacts.
- Conduct proactive recruitment outreach to core and contingent clinical staff as needed.
- Implement escalation protocols for urgent staffing challenges.
- Manage real-time data entry for staffing absence notifications.
- Review final staffing schedules and provide insights to management and scheduling teams.
- Report to leadership on scheduling effectiveness and address upcoming staffing issues.
- Run regular reports to identify staffing gaps and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies.
- Uphold high professional and ethical standards in all activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; some college education preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in generating and interpreting reports.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and management.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of electronic I-9 verification upon hire.
