Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet established specifications and are delivered punctually. They will implement effective inventory management practices to guarantee precise and accurate inventory records. Delivering high-quality products is essential to achieving our objectives. An exemplary Production Associate will elevate operational standards, meet targets, offer insightful product recommendations, and surpass managerial expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Transform raw materials into finished products while adhering to safe food handling protocols.
  • Package all products in accordance with specifications outlined by the Operations Manager.
  • Oversee waste disposal processes as directed by the Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with established policies.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of all products.
  • Conduct audits and maintain records of all cannabis materials provided by the Lead from initiation to order completion on the designated Control Sheet, promptly notifying the Production Lead of any discrepancies.
  • Carry out the preparation, production, and packaging of cannabis products.
  • Maintain, clean, and operate all packaging and production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Complete all assigned product orders efficiently and within deadlines as delegated by the Operations Manager.
  • Coordinate daily laboratory tasks with the Operations Manager.
  • Set up and operate filling, edible, and solid dose manufacturing, packaging, and labeling machinery.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and company SOPs to sanitize production areas and equipment.
  • Keep accurate documentation of all relevant data using tracking software.
  • Prepare plant materials for extraction and document related data accurately.
  • Efficiently fill, package, and label products in accordance with company SOPs and applicable manufacturing standards.
  • Set up, dismantle, and sanitize packaging and production areas as required, adhering to company SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Strong grasp of essential mathematical concepts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in using tools and equipment for mechanical repairs and assembly of large machinery.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks while stationed at one location for extended periods.
  • Willingness to continuously expand knowledge about cannabis, cannabinoids, and related therapies; prior knowledge is a significant advantage.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment and software, including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email.
