Role Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet established specifications and are delivered punctually. They will implement effective inventory management practices to maintain precise inventory records. Delivering high-quality products is essential to our success. An exemplary Production Associate will enhance company standards, achieve objectives, offer insightful product recommendations, and surpass managerial expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transforming raw materials into finished products while adhering to safe food handling protocols.
- Packaging all products in accordance with specifications outlined by the Operations Manager.
- Coordinating waste disposal as per directives from the Operations Manager and ensuring compliance with waste management policies.
- Ensuring proper storage and labeling of products.
- Auditing and documenting all weights or counts of cannabis materials as provided by the Lead from initiation to order completion on the designated Control Sheet. Promptly notifying the Production Lead of any discrepancies.
- Executing the preparation, production, and packaging of cannabis items.
- Monitoring, cleaning, and maintaining all production and packaging equipment, ensuring safe operation.
- Completing all assigned product orders efficiently and on schedule, meeting all deadlines.
- Coordinating daily laboratory tasks with the Operations Manager.
- Setting up and operating filling, edible, and solid dose manufacturing, packaging, and labeling machinery.
- Following manufacturer guidelines and company SOPs to sanitize production areas and equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records of all relevant data in tracking software.
- Preparing plant materials for extraction and accurately documenting related information.
- Efficiently filling, packaging, and labeling products in compliance with company SOPs and applicable manufacturing standards.
- Setting up, dismantling, and sanitizing the packaging and production area as required, in accordance with company SOPs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong grasp of essential mathematical concepts.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment for mechanical repairs and assembly of large machinery.
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks while stationed at one location for extended periods.
- Willingness to continually expand knowledge about cannabis, cannabinoids, and related therapies; prior knowledge is a significant advantage.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with diverse audiences.
- Proficient in using standard office equipment and software, including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email.
