- ROLE SUMMARY
- The primary responsibility of the Nurse Practitioner is to deliver high-quality, compassionate healthcare services directly to patients. The Nurse Practitioner operates autonomously or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals across various environments, adhering to the standards set by recognized national credentialing bodies.
- CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver comprehensive patient care by conducting advanced assessments, diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments, and implementing therapeutic measures for patients with diverse health issues.
Maintain accountability for recognizing personal knowledge limits and effectively managing situations that require consultation or referral to other healthcare providers. Foster professional development by mentoring new staff and educating others about the Nurse Practitioner role.
Consistently uphold high ethical standards and comply with legal regulations while advocating for patients at all levels of care. Strive for continuous improvement in patient care quality by integrating current clinical research and quality improvement initiatives into practice. - ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in collaborative management, consultation, and care coordination.
Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation. - EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Qualifications: A graduate degree from an accredited advanced practice registered nurse program is required.
- Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience as an advanced practice nurse is essential.
- Additional qualifications may be required based on the specific role within the APRN practice area.
- Licensure: Must hold current certification from a recognized national certifying body in the relevant specialty and maintain an active RN and APRN license.
- WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with potential weeknight and weekend on-call responsibilities.
8 AM to 5 PM
