Job Title: Intake Certification Specialist

New Opportunities is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intake Certification Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in determining the eligibility of clients applying for Energy Assistance and Weatherization programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately collect and enter client information into our database.
  • Verify the accuracy of client data and ensure all necessary documentation is received.
  • Calculate income figures and notify clients of their eligibility status.
  • Provide information on available programs and services.
  • Enroll participants in Utility Arrears Forgiveness programs and complete low-budget worksheets.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in program implementation.
  • Knowledge of Energy Assistance Program and other programs available to low-income and/or elderly individuals.
