GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team in Glasgow. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and Patrol Premises: Conduct regular patrols of the property to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Report Writing: Accurately and thoroughly document incidents and events that occur during your shift.
- Supervision: Supervise 3-4 employees and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Scheduling: Create and manage weekly schedules for security personnel.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficiently use computer software to annotate events and complete reports.
- Facility Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations and request assistance as needed.
- Software Utilization: Successfully use provided software to annotate events and complete reports.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Payroll and Hiring: Complete weekly payroll and participate in the hiring process for new employees.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields.
- Security Equipment Familiarity: Familiarity with security equipment and technology.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols, with a light physical workload.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document incidents.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Transportation: Reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license.
