Pure Barre Lancaster is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Fitness Instructor to lead our group fitness classes.

Job Summary

The Fitness Instructor will be responsible for leading up to 25 participants through a 50-minute total body workout, utilizing the ballet barre to perform small, isometric movements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a minimum of 5 classes per week, with availability to work early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Plan and prepare diligently before each class, including study of choreography and class planning
  • Learn full choreography changes on a quarterly basis
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized studio
  • Lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain high-energy throughout the class

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, confident, and outgoing personality
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others
  • Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service
  • Active lifestyle, with a strong commitment to health and wellness
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic, and a willingness to go above and beyond
  • Confidence to command a room of 20 people
  • Musicality, with the ability to keep rhythm and count to the beat of music
  • Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading, or barre concept (ideal but not required)
  • Pure Barre certification required, with opportunities for training and certification provided
