Moors & Company is seeking an experienced nurse to develop and deliver educational programs that enhance clinical practice, improve patient outcomes, and foster professional growth among healthcare staff in the abdominal transplant unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver educational modules and continuing education programs across the abdominal transplant unit, including outpatient, transplant ICU, and acute care settings.
  • Support clinical staff and transplant coordinators with advanced training, orientation programs, and ongoing educational resources.
  • Collaborate with the unit team to ensure adherence to OPTN and CSM guidelines and incorporate best practices into educational content.
  • Provide support to the surgical intensive care unit (SICU) and work closely with outpatient transplant programs.
  • Coordinate and participate in a comprehensive 3-day classroom training program.
  • Act as an expert resource for staff education and clinical development within the transplant program.

Requirements:

  • Active RN Texas License or multi-state compact RN license in good standing, free of stipulations.
  • Masters Degree (education focus preferred).
  • 5 years of acute care nursing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Kidney Transplant Coordinator (required).
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Estimated Salary Range: $89,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include partial relocation package, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off.
