Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy agents to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of treatment outcomes.
  • Assess patients' conditions, evaluate treatment plans, and modify as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, medications, and outcomes, adhering to regulatory guidelines and hospital policies.
  • Participate in discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition of care for patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in infusion therapy, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Florida Registered Nurse License.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy.
