Job Summary

University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Infusion Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and a strong background in oncology care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy agents to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of side effects.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their medical history, treatment goals, and cultural background.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and promoting healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Nurse License
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in oncology care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
