Role Overview:

The Lead Financial Planning Manager will be instrumental in driving the company's financial growth objectives. This role involves creating and sustaining insightful financial analyses that support strategic decision-making across the organization. The individual will collaborate with various departments to interpret revenue and cost discrepancies compared to budget forecasts and historical data, while also developing action plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate precise and meaningful financial analyses to inform executive decisions.
  • Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional leaders to implement and monitor corporate initiatives.
  • Evaluate Sales and Marketing strategies to determine their financial implications.
  • Develop pro forma profit and loss statements to identify potential risks and opportunities for new ventures.
  • Work alongside Supply Chain and Operations to assess product costs and create accurate forecasts.
  • Analyze monthly financial outcomes, providing clear commentary on variances.
  • Coordinate with the Group Reporting finance team for timely submission of key deliverables.
  • Create dynamic presentations and effectively communicate findings with stakeholders.
  • Enhance business analytics and reporting tools to improve financial visibility and performance.
  • Lead various ad-hoc financial projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within consumer goods, food and beverage, or retail sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Proficient in managing large datasets, with strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data management tools.
  • Adept at thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment; a strong team player eager to take on increased responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business scenarios.
  • Creative and innovative mindset while maintaining attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular sitting, communication, and the ability to operate standard office equipment. The employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, or lift up to 35 lbs. The work environment is typically a well-lit, climate-controlled office.
