Your Role at Raising Cane's:

The Restaurant Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Restaurant Leader to ensure operational excellence and uphold the esteemed standards and culture of Raising Cane's in all facets of restaurant management.

Work Environment:

This position involves a dynamic work setting that includes a fast-paced kitchen environment and direct interaction with customers. It requires sustained physical activity such as walking, standing, and lifting, as well as working in diverse temperature conditions, handling food products and allergens, and utilizing industrial equipment and commercial cleaning supplies. Personal protective equipment and ergonomic practices are essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

Position Purpose:

To execute restaurant operational functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the manager on duty, overseeing restaurant opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage cash handling processes and ensure accountability.
  • Enforce company policies and operational standards.
  • Conduct shift management meetings to uphold operational and safety standards.
  • Utilize necessary tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document outcomes, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Deploy crewmembers efficiently during shifts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Implement the reward and recognition program for restaurant crewmembers.
  • Authorize employee functions that require managerial approval (e.g., discounts, promotions, timeclock adjustments).
  • Ensure the cleanliness and operational readiness of the restaurant.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements for Success:

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Skilled in recognizing and analyzing problems, setting goals, creating actionable plans, and executing solutions.
  • Proficient in various technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), with a quick learning ability for new systems.
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, and travel as necessary for training and work-related functions.
  • Must complete all required training programs.
  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant or retail management.
  • Experience with new restaurant openings is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is preferred.
