About the Role:

Position: Customer Service/Office Support Team Member

Compensation: $22/Hour

Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone regarding product availability, assist in tracking delayed or misdirected orders, clarify return policies, and handle other related customer service issues. Direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel when necessary.
  2. Conduct various filing activities, including matching purchase orders with vendor invoices and other receiving documents.
  3. Analyze and compare purchase orders with vendor invoices to identify and rectify discrepancies in pricing, quantity, or related matters.
  4. Prepare and submit claims for product discrepancies, including shortages and damages.
  5. Assist warehouse staff with the return of products due to shipping errors.
  6. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Office Manager.
  7. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Desired Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in an office environment is preferred.
  2. High school diploma or GED is required.
  3. Proficiency in personal computers, the Internet, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  4. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  5. Effective verbal and written communication skills with customers and colleagues.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to use computers and phones for extended periods.
  2. Capability to stand for long durations.
  3. Ability to sit in an office setting for extended periods.
