Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and patrol the buildings and grounds to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Respond to and investigate all emergency situations, taking prompt and effective action to prevent damage or loss of property.
  • Secure the buildings and grounds to prevent unauthorized access or damage.
  • Monitor all persons entering and leaving the property, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access.
  • Monitor weather and road conditions, notifying grounds personnel when necessary to ensure the property is prepared for any potential hazards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in private security, military service, or law enforcement is preferred.
  • Basic security skills, including the use of 'guard tour' equipment, and the ability to operate a 'Windows' based PC for use with the building's automated computer control system.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The salary range for this position is $16.78-$20.96/hour USD, with the final salary offer varying based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
  • The position is eligible to participate in FM Global's comprehensive Total Rewards program, which includes an incentive plan, career development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, free meals, and employee discounts at participating hotels.
