As an integral member of SIF's Human Resources team, you will engage in all facets of our HR operations, from recruitment to employee separation, and everything in between. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the HR team throughout the entire employment lifecycle – from talent acquisition to onboarding, HR program management, learning and development, employee recognition, and offboarding – you will be the central point of contact.
  • Managing bi-weekly payroll for over 250 employees, assisting them with all payroll-related inquiries.
  • Becoming our HRIS expert – enhancing our HR technology to deliver a seamless, collaborative, and engaging employee experience.
  • Creating engaging employee communication materials to disseminate important HR-related information on various topics, including wellness and benefits.
  • Overseeing the Recognition @ SIF programs to express gratitude to our exceptional team members.

Your qualifications should include:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in an HR role, supporting diverse areas within the HR spectrum.
  • Experience in payroll administration is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of utilizing social media as an effective recruitment tool.
  • Familiarity with graphic design platforms like Canva is advantageous.
  • Experience with FMLA administration is beneficial.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, including multitasking, prioritizing, and following through on commitments.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills (verbal, written, presentation) with a demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • High ethical standards, personal confidence, compassion, and transparency in handling HR matters.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage ambiguity, and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in technology and tools; adept in using Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
