Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team at Consolidated Machine & Welding. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documents, including 2D drawings and 3D models, to support our engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical drawings and models using SolidWorks and other CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers to understand design requirements and translate information into technical documents.
  • Store and manage electronic drawings, models, and revisions in our Product Data Management database.
  • Acquire and incorporate third-party supplier models and drawings into our assemblies and Bills-Of-Material.
  • Prepare and release Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) to production teams.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-year degree or certification in technical drafting.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks and other CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of drafting systems and processes.
  • 3D design software proficiency.
  • Strong ethical conduct and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
