Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing month-end reconciliation for cash control ledgers.
- Manually processing and posting cash receipts for state insurance.
- Analyzing financial reports to validate daily payment files submitted to the agency.
- Acting as a liaison with banking partners to resolve deposit discrepancies and addressing public inquiries.
- Authorizing cash transfers between accounts.
Our organization currently operates on a hybrid work model, which includes both remote and in-office work as required by management or for initial training purposes.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 42 months of experience or training in accounting or finance, including advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software.
- Alternatively, completion of an undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, along with 18 months of relevant experience or training.
- Or, completion of a graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, with 6 months of relevant experience or training.
- Or, 12 months of experience as a Financial Analyst.
- Equivalent qualifications may also be considered.

Additional Information:
Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may substitute for 4 months of the required accounting or fiscal experience.

Salary Information:

The hourly wage for this position will be determined based on the pay range associated with the role for new state employees. Current state employees will be placed at the appropriate step according to applicable union contracts and state regulations. Advancement within the pay range will occur after six months, contingent upon satisfactory job performance, with annual step increases thereafter until the maximum pay step is reached. Potential cost of living adjustments and longevity supplements may apply after five years of service.
