Museum Collections Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Museum Collections Technician to join our team at the University of Georgia. The successful candidate will assist the Museum Director and staff with collections management, including quality control of records, general upkeep and monitoring of the collections space, and organization of the collections.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor museum front-desk and gallery, fielding questions on tours from voice mail and monitoring the museum email accounts.
- Interact with Gallery visitors and provide them with parking passes as needed.
- Assist in coordinating museum interns working in the on-campus collections, including working with specimens and database work for various collections.
- Coordinate Web Updates for Intern Experiences, update the Museum Events and outreach Activities, and other needed updates on the Museum Drupal website.
- Review the Museum's Science Box program, inventory the various science boxes and work with Franklin College to develop box checkout program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
