The successful candidate will be expected to advance towards obtaining their actuarial credentials. Utilizing both experience and industry insights, the analyst will be responsible for identifying and diagnosing problems, outlining necessary data for studies or analyses, and proposing viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze problems, determining data requirements for studies and analyses while proposing potential solutions. Ensure that results are appropriate based on industry knowledge and experience.
  • Develop studies, analyses, and presentation materials that effectively inform decision-makers, providing sound recommendations to management across various teams.
  • Ensure consistency in all work outputs, utilizing industry knowledge to perform reasonability checks and exceed customer expectations.
  • Engage with internal and external knowledge forums to broaden industry perspectives, demonstrating subject matter expertise and being a resource for technical input.
  • Understand the goals and objectives of your role, your team, and internal customers, using industry knowledge to implement new processes and propose improvements.
  • Manage time and resources effectively across multiple projects, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness in a dynamic environment.
  • Foster teamwork and cooperation by interacting with stakeholders effectively, providing decision support to team members.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 3 years in an actuarial role.

Preferred:

  • Completion of 10 or more Exam Components.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of actuarial principles and practices across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Travel Requirement:

0% - 25%

Work Environment:

This is an office-based position that may involve occasional travel. The role requires frequent communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
