Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain actuarial models analyze data and provide insights for pricing and bidding on Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Have a solid understanding of Medicare Advantage rules and risk adjustment methods along with strong analytical skills.
  • Help develop and implement pricing strategies ensure compliance with regulations and offer insights to improve Medicare Advantage plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics Mathematics Actuarial Science Finance or a related field.
  • Completed 4 exams for the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
  • At least 5 years of healthcare actuarial experience.
  • Experience writing SQL queries or using another programming language.

Additional (Preferred but not required):

  • Designation as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
  • Fellow (FSA) or Associate (ASA) status within the Society of Actuaries
  • More than 2 years of experience in Medicare bidding
