Overview

Softtek Government Solutions is seeking a Junior Management Analyst to support a public health preparedness and emergency response organization at the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the assessment of analysis of policies options related to national health security.
  • Address Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) health threats.
  • Support medical countermeasure (MCM) development, acquisition, and utilization.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery.
  • Contribute to climate change adaptation, resilience, health equity, and the needs of at-risk populations.
  • Support efforts to address emergent public health threats and natural or human-caused health emergencies.
  • Assist in implementing objectives in the National Biodefense Strategy.
  • Help with interdepartmental clearance of high-level policy and technical documents.
  • Study mission-critical issues to support development of congressional testimony and briefing materials.
  • Support the development of talking points and slides for presentations, speeches, and leadership briefs.
  • Prepare complete and accurate meeting summaries expeditiously.
  • Support studies and analyses on health-related emergency preparedness and response issues.
  • Assist with managing interagency tracking of policies and activities implemented by ASPR.
  • Compile resources into an accessible, user-friendly web-based compendium.
  • Support ASPR federal advisory committee operations through literature review and meeting organization.
  • Assist in writing/editing a broad range of materials such as white papers and congressional reports.
  • Support other managerial, scientific, technical, or administrative activities relevant to public health.
  • Strong writing and communication skills are required.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned in keeping with the scope of the TO.

Requirements

Required Education:

  • Master's Degree

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Strong research and writing skills

Required Clearance:

  • US citizenship
