Job Overview

The Salvation Army seeks a skilled Social Services Assistant to join their team in supporting daily tasks, including donation pickups, food pantry management, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Pick up and transport donations on a daily basis
  • Inventory and manage food for distribution, maintaining a clean and organized storage area
  • Maintain accurate mileage logs and ensure vehicles are kept in good condition
Requirements
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • A valid WA driver's license is essential
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and stand/walk for 80% of the shift
  • Operational knowledge of pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
  • Familiarity with food safety practices
Compensation

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday with possible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
