Job Overview

Material Handler Position - Bilingual Candidates Encouraged

Nexeo Staffing is looking for dedicated Material Handlers to support operations in a Distribution Center. This position plays a vital role in the efficient handling of products, ensuring they are picked, labeled, scanned, received, sorted, staged, wrapped, and stocked with precision. We emphasize safety, quality, and productivity to ensure timely delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently pick and label products from designated areas.
  • Utilize hand-held scanners for receiving and staging incoming products.
  • Accurately identify and sort products, manage damaged items, and prepare shipments.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually unload products, stage them for scanning, and transport them to specified locations.
  • Maintain organization of pick locations and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and participate in on-call rotations as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety standards and compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability are essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Good organizational, comprehension, and mathematical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and management levels.
  • Capable of maintaining accurate records and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Power Equipment certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English or Spanish is required.

Compensation:

$17.75 Per Hour

Work Schedule:

Day Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6:00am – 3:00pm & Friday 6:00am – 11:00am
