Material Handler II

Litehouse Foods is a leading producer and marketer of refrigerated salad dressings, cheeses, dips, sauces, and freeze-dried herbs. We are seeking a strategic full-time Material Handler II to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and supplying raw materials and dressings as production needs require, picking orders, loading/unloading trucks, shipping orders, and receiving items with a fork truck.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices to move materials and/or accurately pick/stack customer orders or receive vendor orders.
- Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, or lifting devices, following stacking patterns to ensure safety and customer quality is achieved.
- Maintain accurate inventory and inventory transactions.
- Adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.
- Utilize a hand-held scanner data collection system to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Achieve and maintain certification to operate industrial powered equipment appropriate for this position.
- Maintain a clean work area and participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds.
- Frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- High school diploma/GED strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working with little supervision.
