About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Systems Hardware Engineer III to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high and medium power systems for our spacecraft, with a focus on high and low voltage distribution, and power regulation and conversion.

You will work closely with firmware, software, systems, and mechanical engineers to deliver full operational and integrated flight hardware. Your expertise will be critical in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead, and own high and low voltage, avionic designs that interact with electrical power consumers.
  • Support power regulation and distribution architecture trade studies, analyses, performance characterization and specification, device selection, and product roadmap direction.
  • Participate in program level technology development, mission assurance and safety initiatives, and avionics development process improvements.
  • Effectively communicate development status, risks, and challenges to management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • A breadth of understanding in electronics hardware development, including developing high voltage switching.
