Job Summary:

ElasticSearch Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Global Mobility Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing support in the areas of global mobility, including domestic and international transfers, permanent residence sponsorship, international tax, and relocations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact on all aspects of US and global immigration, including work visas, registration, and social security to ensure company compliance.
  • Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining mobility practices, policies, and procedures that meet our current program needs.
  • Execute the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification process for all new hires through Workday, reviewing I-9 forms and acceptable identification documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships with outside immigration and tax vendors and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of immigration-related information, including visa types, expiration dates, and employee status through Workday.
  • Recommend alternatives to business leaders for employees whose visa applications are not approved or renewals and extensions are approaching maximum duration.
  • Track and review vendor invoices related to global immigration and tax activities to document cost allocations and develop timely payment processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 or more years of previous experience as an HR Professional in a fast-paced, growing company.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply resolutions.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of Workday preferred.
