About the Role

Morton Buildings, Inc. is a leading provider of post-frame construction solutions, with a rich history spanning over 120 years. Our company has a strong presence across the United States, with multiple manufacturing, fabrication, and shipping plants serving over 100 construction centers nationwide.

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for increasing market share within an assigned geographical territory, cultivating new customers, and developing relationships with existing ones.

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a strong ability to integrate various technologies into your day-to-day activities, effectively managing complex projects throughout the construction process from pre-sale to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an adequate sales funnel to sell at or above established sales budgets
  • Grow existing market share and be readily available during construction relative work hours
  • Coordinate all individuals involved in the building project, including MBI personnel, subcontractors, and navigate permitting requirements
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and display excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Utilize proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Minimal overnight travel required
