Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage a four-week schedule, ensuring subcontractors, consultants, and vendors adhere to the critical path.
  • Quality Control: Supervise subcontractor work to guarantee high-quality results that meet plans and specifications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate building inspections with local authorities.
  • Job Site Management: Maintain a daily log of activities, equipment usage, manpower, and safety on the jobsite.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Lead weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work and ensure smooth project progression.
  • Warranty and Support: Identify, document, and resolve warranty issues in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Collaborate with the project manager to prepare and present job status reports to senior management.
  • Project Close-Out: Assist with project close-out, including certificate of occupancy and punch list management.
  • Business Development: Represent the company to the owner and architectural team, identifying opportunities for future growth.
  • Job Site Organization: Ensure the jobsite, job trailer, and documentation are clean and organized.
Requirements:
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and contract documents.
  • Construction Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of established construction methods and techniques.
  • Project Management Skills: Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Project, and Procore.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in commercial construction projects.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 certification recommended.
