Mechanical Inspector

AGC Electronics America is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Hillsboro, OR.
We manufacture high-purity Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramics materials and CMP Slurries for the semiconductor industry. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products.
Responsibilities- Inspect a variety of parts for conformance to specifications, applying knowledge of machining, shop mathematics, and statistics.
- Use precision measuring instruments, such as gauge blocks, micrometers, height gauges, sine plates, and optical gauges, as required by different inspection procedures.
- Document findings and work with customers for corrective action plans.
- Maintain accurate inspection, calibration, and other related records.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a variety of positions, including standing, sitting, bending, and moving between workstations.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines and complete special projects.
- Competitive hourly rate of $25.27.
- Immediate eligibility for a full benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with up to a 4% company match, and up to 144 hours of paid time off.
- 11 paid holidays per year.
