Certified Nurse Aide

As a Certified Nurse Aide with Ambercare, you'll play a vital role in supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver life-changing service while enjoying consistent, flexible hours that accommodate your personal needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time
- Assist with therapy exercises under the direction of a Registered Therapist
- Perform personal care tasks, including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with toileting functions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and stimulation for clients, including reading, walks, and accompanying them to appointments
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training
- One year of home care or comparable experience
- Satisfactory background check and valid driver's license
- Current car insurance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to compassionately care for others
- Reliable, energetic, self-motivated, and well-organized
