About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, preparing patients, and operating various imaging systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including preparing and positioning patients, adjusting equipment, and operating imaging systems.
  • Rotate to other areas of the medical center as needed, including inpatient and outpatient exams.
  • Maintain equipment, log repairs, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and demonstrate a commitment to patient care.
Requirements
  • ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and/or OB/Gyn and/or Vascular upon hire.
  • Ability to perform inpatient and outpatient exams, as well as other ultrasound exams as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Current BLS certification and ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vascular and neuro ultrasound experience.
  • Recent work experience in an acute care setting.
  • Experience/training in musculoskeletal, transcranial doppler, breast, and/or vascular ultrasound.
