Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist III to join our team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing advanced ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and advanced ultrasound procedures with high-quality diagnostic images
  • Evaluate the technical quality of images and submit them to interpreting radiologists
  • Provide patient education and report changes in patient status, including emergency response if necessary
  • Accurately document patient information in hospital systems
  • Act as a resource and assist in training less experienced technologists
  • Assist with quality control duties and monitor/order supplies for the department
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Graduate of an ARDMS-approved ultrasound program
  • Minimum of five years of experience as an ultrasound technologist, preferably in an acute care setting
  • Certifications: BLS, ARDMS registered in one or more specialties
