We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team at Bruces Super Body Shops as a Collision Repair Estimator. In this role, you will be essential in evaluating vehicle damage and generating precise repair estimates, ensuring our clients receive clear and accurate information regarding the costs involved in their vehicle repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Utilize advanced estimating software and tools to create detailed and accurate repair estimates.
- Work collaboratively with the body shop manager and technicians to ensure timely and precise assessments.
- Effectively communicate repair estimates and timelines to clients, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Engage with insurance companies to provide necessary documentation and negotiate repair costs when necessary.
- Stay informed about industry standards, vehicle technologies, and repair techniques through ongoing training.
- Follow company policies and safety regulations to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in automotive repair are advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience as a collision estimator or in a related role within a reputable automotive repair facility.
- In-depth knowledge of collision repair processes, parts, and labor costs.
- Proficiency in using CCC estimating software and other relevant tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in assessing vehicle damage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with insurance claims processes and negotiation techniques is preferred.
