Help us write the next chapter of Purina s history.Nestl Purina Maintenance is seeking to build a team of Electromechanical Technicians (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) who will maintain, troubleshoot, repair and optimize material handling equipment. Day to day, you will work with production and maintenance personnel to solve problems and implement solutions quickly and safely to keep factory assets operating efficiently.The first severalmonths of this position will require travel (approximately 50%) for training purposes to other Nestl Purina factory locations.The starting pay for this position is $36.00/hr., with a strategic Maintenance Progression Plan that provides for increasing wages up to $42.00/hr., based on knowledge/skill demonstration, technical assessments and performance reviews. In this role,you will enjoy a retention bonus, overtime pay, quarterly bonus, $500 lifestyle spending each year, full health benefits, 401k match, generous PTO, excellent maternity/paternity leave and moreRepair, replace and install sensors, scanners, pallet racks, shuttles, cranes, actuators, transformers, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, electric eyes, conduit systems, switches, wiring, belts, etc.Assist in configuration, validation, commissioning and troubleshooting of the automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) and serve as the first responder to system concerns (i.e., pallet jams)Monitor daily operation of the ASRS including preventative maintenance, messaging and debugging within the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SynQ (ASRS logic system) Employ knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) to troubleshoot material handling systems without modifying programmingUtilize mechanical and electrical tools, diagnostic instruments (meters), electrical diagrams and schematics, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other digital tools to work safely and efficientlyCollaborate with team members to maintain equipment and solve technical problems to minimize downtimeModel electrical safety and share electrical and mechanical expertise to train other team membersREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED equivalent3+ years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex mechanical equipment, electrical and automation systems, in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environmentORTechnical degree or certification with 1+ year of relevant industrial electrical and mechanical experienceOTHERPrior to factory operational startup, must be willing to travel up to 50% for training purposes to other Nestl Purina factory locationsThe approximate starting hourly pay for this position is $36.00 an hour for Electromechanic Technician C. The pay progression plan follows: Electromechanic Technician B $39.00, Electromechanic Technician A $42.00.
