Position Overview

The Financial Operations Manager will oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting practices and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations and ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution; a minimum of five years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing setting.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret complex financial documents and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Proficient in applying advanced mathematical concepts and performing detailed financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY
Strong analytical skills to identify issues, gather data, and draw logical conclusions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate. Must be able to focus on detailed tasks and adapt to varying work conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily an indoor role with a moderate noise level. Adherence to safety protocols and procedures is essential.
