Senior Electrical Systems Engineer - Location Unspecified
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in designing electrical systems tailored for mission-critical data centers. Expertise in Electrical Power Distribution System design and installation is essential. Familiarity with electrical equipment design, including generators, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and electrical switchgear, is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP for developing electrical construction models and documentation is crucial. Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and clients are imperative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute designs and plans, gather specifications, and fulfill assignments in a multidisciplinary electrical engineering design capacity for small to medium-sized data center projects.
  • Create electrical construction documents primarily using AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP.
  • Generate conceptual designs based on client meetings, focusing on field engineering.
  • Production engineering opportunities are available for those preferring minimal fieldwork.
  • Collaborate with management to respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in alignment with company policies, articulating these in clear, concise work statements for field teams.
  • Represent the company in project meetings as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 2-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • EIT or Licensed PE is advantageous.
  • LEED AP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP models is beneficial.
  • Proven experience with Electrical Power Systems, including UPS, generators, switchgears, and batteries, is mandatory.
  • Experience in designing complex facilities for mission-critical data centers is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively.
  • Military veterans with experience in electrical or mechanical fields are highly encouraged to apply.
